Job Description: Director of Sales + Education

Effective: July 2023

The Role:

We are seeking a professional, experienced and high-performing Director of Sales + Education to join our growing team at RMNL Brands. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in partnership with his/her direct reports. The Director of Sales + Education is responsible for creation and flawless execution of the Company’s B2B sales strategy to achieve goals, objectives and growth plans for both new and existing business. This individual is responsible for driving growth and profitability in assigned accounts through building relationships, understanding customer trends and competitive needs within the marketplace (Spa, Med Spa and Franchise). The Director of Sales + Education will build, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide extraordinary service while doing so. The successful candidate will collaborate with a variety of individuals both inside and outside RMNL Brands and is a key part of the Leadership Team. The Director of Sales + Education will ensure all sales and marketing initiatives are well-executed and provide professional representation of the brand. This individual is driven by great performance, growth, success and thinks creatively about how to achieve in an ever-evolving global marketplace. What We Expect – Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and execute annual sales strategy to achieve quarterly sales targets and growth plans across territories and business segments.
  • Drive sales, profitability and growth in key accounts with sales team to achieve targets and minimize customer attrition.
  • Conduct sales visits, business reviews and related activities to achieve goals, increase brand recognition and drive loyalty for B2B customers in Spa, Med Spa and Franchise accounts
  • Creates positive and lasting relationships with our vendors, suppliers and wholesale accounts and looks for opportunities to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Identifies business opportunities and creates innovative approaches to capitalize on them.
  • Provides customer feedback, product opportunities and competitive information to business partners to further sales initiatives and strengthen RMNL Brands.
  • Mentors and coaches the Sales team and holds them accountable through providing feedback on selling skills, business development and account management opportunities to further expand business.
  • Compiles, analyzes and presents sales figures, metrics and other key data to measure results and provide direction to the Sales Team.
  • Presents monthly business analysis and opportunities to COO to leverage resources and achieve results.
  • Leads through inspiring, challenging and empowering team and peers to achieve great results. Strong communication skills, professionalism and collaboration are key both inside and outside the organization.
  • Develops education strategy for key markets through use of independent contractors to achieve outlined success.
  • Responsible for delivering comprehensive, high quality and effective customer education for all B2B accounts and schools through training, webinars, consultations and providing effective resources that drive sales results.
  • Owns the design, execution and success of the School Alliance Program and Franchise strategy and measures results annually.
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to further create brand excitement, customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Leads all promotional and product launches including sales strategy, account goals, gratis and implementation of launch plans and timelines.
  • Manages assigned budget expenses and ensures all policies and procedures are upheld within team and processes and workflow are effective and efficient.
  • Owns the CRM system utilization, training and reporting to drive sales.
  • Performs all sales and promotional forecasting, post-sales support, and works with business partners for a seamless and collaborative approach to driving the business.
  • Leads all project work that drive sales and customer engagement including events, trade shows, training, follow-up and anything else as directed.
  • Uphold the Company Mission and Values in word and action everyday both inside and outside RMNL Brands.

What We’re Looking for – Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in an outside sales role – at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Skincare experience a plus – CPG experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • eCommerce business experience preferred.
  • International sales and distribution experience a plus.
  • Proficient with common computer programs including MS Office and CRM
  • Ability to think strategically and create plans to achieve objectives and financial targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, inspire and motivate team members to succeed.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles, close the sale and solve problems for customers.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand financial information and use it in decision making and business planning.
  • Ability to process a lot of information, categorize it and make smart decisions that protect the interests of RMNL Brands.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with accounts and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow through and ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environment. Open to new ways of doing things.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen.
  • The employee is required to sit for long periods of time, as well as frequently standing and walking. Use of hands, arms and fingers necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations, Trade Shows and business events as directed.
